Harambee Stars defender Daniel Anyembe's market value rises by over Sh50 million

Harambee Stars defender Daniel Anyembe has seen a significant surge in his market value, witnessing a remarkable increase of more than Ksh50 million in recent developments.

The player, hailing from Denmark, has experienced a jump in his market valuation from €400,000 (Ksh69 million) in December 2022 to €700,000 (Ksh121 million) in 2023.

This rise can be credited to Anyembe's exceptional performances with Viborg and the national team.

Despite an unfortunate injury sidelining him from Kenya's recent matches, Anyembe's impressive run has not gone unnoticed, marking an increase in his value according to Transfermarkt.

The former captain of Denmark U23 has demonstrated versatility, participating in 12 appearances as both a right-back and a centre-back for the Danish club Viborg FF this season.

Beginning his journey at Esbjerg's academy in 2009, Anyembe made his European debut for the first team during the 2017/18 season. Since joining Viborg on a contract until June 30, 2025, he has accumulated 56 appearances for the Danish Superliga club.

Although born and raised in Denmark to a Kenyan father and Danish mother, Anyembe chose to represent his father's homeland, making his debut for Harambee Stars against Iran. He expressed enthusiasm for the national team project and the coach's confidence in his abilities.
